CHURCH officials urged the Catholic flock and devotees to participate actively in the spiritual and liturgical activities organized in honor of the 442nd Feast of Sto. Niño.
This, after they noticed that the days leading to Jan. 20 are full of entertainment activities and that local and foreign tourists instead flock to watch the Sinulog grand parade on the feast day itself.
In its weekly publication “Bag-ong Lungsuranonâ€, the Archdiocese of Cebu reminded the people to fulfill their obligations to the church, like attending masses, before joining any revelry. (more)
