AROUND a thousand runners are expected to join the Sinulog Fun run 2011 this Jan. 2 at the Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC).
This will serve as one of the highlight of the opening salvo of the Sinulog Celebration.

The race will feature a men and women open category with a distance of 5.1 kms. and a 3K Kiddie Fun Run ages 12 and below.
Participants in the 3K Kiddie Fun Run is required to present a birth certificate or any public document that could prove his/her age.
“The race will be using the Sinulog carousel route, which is from the CCSC-P. del Rosario St.-New Imus Road-General Maxilom-Fuente Osmena Boulevard-CCSC,” organizer Ricky Ballesteros said.
He said that despite the schedule is a day after the new year’s celebration, he still believes that there are still a lot of running enthusiasts who will join. (more)
