MORE than 1,000 runners have signed up for the Sinulog Fun Run 2011 this Sunday at the Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC).
“Tomorrow (Dec. 30) is the deadline of our registration and we are still expecting more runners to join,” organizer Ricky Ballesteros said.
Ballesteros added there were some runners who requested a longer route but he had to turn them down because he preferred to stick with the “symbolic route.” The Sinulog Fun Run will follow the route of the Sinulog Grand Parade.
“This will be considered as the liveliest fun run,” Ballesteros said.
As one of the sidelights of the fun run, several bands who are auditioning for the Musicfest will start playing at 4 a.m.
“We also be choosing the top six dance crew,” he said. (more)
