San Roque Elementary School

Taking their cue from local television series “Noah,” Talisay City’s San Roque Elementary School students danced with replicas of roasted pig (“lechon”) and hanging rice (“puso”) to depict the Inasal Festival, which is celebrated during the fiesta of Talisay City in October.

Despite being first-timers, the San Roque Elementary School students were the champion in the Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Lalawigan, with the choreography courtesy of Herbert Senarillos. In addition to being champions, the group also won Best in Musicality.

The 100 dancers, 34 drummers and more or less 170 propsmen will present their dance again on Sunday’s Grand Parade.
