Devotees of Sr. Sto. Niño attended the fluvial procession, which officially started around 8 a.m. Friday. The pump boats, adorned with banderitas, left the Ouano Wharf in Mandaue City at 8:05 a.m. and arrived at the Cebu port around 9 a.m. The people who waited at the Cebu port started to gather as early as 5:30 a.m. Some of them carried images of the Child Jesus.
