Traffic re-routing plan for Sinulog Launching Parade 2014

I. Vehicular traffic will be re-routed temporarily on the affected streets for the Sinulog launching parade from the Main Entrance of Basilica del Santo Niño, along Osmeña Blvd., go straight to Fuente Rotunda (Relo side), then U-turn back to Osmeña Blvd., taking the left lane up to the Gate of Cebu City Sports Complex in between Cebu City Central School and Abellana National High School on Friday, January 10, 2014, at 2 p.m. until the activity is finished.

1. Passenger jeep coming from Capitol and Lahug passing Osmeña Blvd., to Fuente Oval, turn right to B. Rodriguez St., left turn to V. Rama Ave., proceed to V. Rama Extn., then to their destination. From Carbon Area, shall turn left to F. Gonzales St., left turn to Magallanes St., right turn to Borromeo St., left turn to Sanciangko St., right turn to Panganiban St., left turn to N. Bacalso Ave., right turn to V. Rama Ave., then to their point of origin.

2. Passenger jeep coming from Banawa and Guadalupe shall follow to V. Rama Ave., right turn to Katipunan St., left turn to A. Lopez St., straight to Tres de Abril St., right turn to Carlock St., left turn to Tupas St., straight to Magallanes St., to Carbon Area. From Carbon Area, shall turn left to F. Gonzales St., left turn to Magallanes St., right turn to Borromeo St., left turn to Sanciangko St., right turn to Panganiban St., left turn to N. Bacalso Ave., right turn to V. Rama Ave., then to their point of origin.

3. Passenger jeep coming from Lahug passing Gen. Maxilom Ave., shall follow to F. Ramos St., right turn to Junquera St., left turn to Colon St., left turn to D. Jakosalem St., then to their point of origin.

4. Passenger jeep coming from Capitol/Ayala with Route No. 14D shall follow to N. Escario St., left turn to Juana Osmeña St., right turn to Gen. Maxilom Ave., left turn to F. Ramos St., to Junquera St., left turn to Colon St., right turn to Mabini St., right turn to V. Gullas St., right turn to Legaspi St., straight to Pelaez St., right turn to P. Del Rosario St., left turn to D. Jakosalem St., left turn to Echavez Extn., right turn to F. Ramos St., right turn to Raintree Mall, proceed to Juana Osmeña St., then to their point of origin.

5. Passenger jeep coming from Talamban passing Junquera St.,/F. Ramos St., shall turn left to Sikatuna St., straight to Mabini St., right turn to V. Gullas St., right turn to D. Jakosalem St., to their usual route, then to their point of origin. While Talamban route passing Sikatuna St., shall turn right to Colon St., right turn to D. Jakosalem St., then to their point of origin.

6. Passenger jeep coming from the Basak, Pardo, and Labangon passing P. del Rosario St., shall turn right to V. Rama Extn., left turn to Tres de Abril St., left turn to C. Padilla St., right turn to Panganiban St., left turn to Magallanes St., left turn to Borromeo St., to their usual route, then back to their point of origin.
7. Passenger jeep coming from Inayawan, Basak, Pardo, and Labangon passing Colon St., shall turn right to Leon Kilat St., right turn to Magallanes St., then back to their point of origin.

8. Passenger jeep coming from the South passing Colon St., bound for SM, and North Bus Terminal, shall turn right to V. Rama Extn., left turn to Tres de Abril St., right turn to Lakandula St., left turn to C. Padilla St., right turn to Panganiban St., left turn to Magallanes St., right turn to Plaridel St., left turn to Lincoln St., left turn to F. Gonzales St., then follow to M.C. Briones St., left turn to M.J. Cuenco Ave., right turn to V. Sotto St., left turn to Serging Osmeña Blvd., then to their destination. From SM/NBT, shall turn left to Gen. Maxilom Ave., right turn to Juana Osmeña St., left turn J. Llorente St., left turn to C. Rodriguez St., right turn to B. Rodriguez St., left turn V. Rama Ave., right turn to N. Bacalso Ave., then back to their point of origin.

9. Passenger jeep coming from Urgello and USC Girls High shall follow to Leon Kilat St., right turn to Sanciangko St., left turn to Panganiban St., left turn to Colon St., right turn to Leon Kilat St., left turn to Magallanes St., right turn to Manalili St., left turn to J. Leyson St., to M.C. Briones St., left turn to M.J. Cuenco Ave., right turn to Palma St., left turn to Arellano Blvd., then to their destination. From Pier, SM/NBT shall follow to M.J. Cuenco Ave., right turn to Magallanes St., to M.C. Briones St., right turn D. Jakosalem St., left turn to Magallanes St., to Borromeo St., left turn to Sanciangko St., left turn to N. Bacalso Ave., right turn to V. Rama Ave., right turn to Alcantara St., then to their point of origin.

10. Passenger jeep coming from Mabolo passing Gen, Maxilom Ave., shall turn left to F. Ramos St., right turn to Junquera St., left turn to Colon St., left turn to Mabini St., right turn to Zulueta St., left turn to M.J. Cuenco Ave, to their usual route, then to their point of origin.

11. Passenger jeep coming from Mabolo passing V. Gullas St., shall turn right to Legaspi St., right turn to Colon St., left turn to Mabini St., right turn to Zulueta St., left turn to M.J. Cuenco Ave., then to their point of origin.

12. Passenger jeep coming from Mandaue City passing V. Gullas St., shall turn left to. P. Burgos left turn to Jereza St., left turn to M.J. Cuenco Ave., to their usual route, then to their point of origin.

II. Motorist, Drivers and other road users are advised to follow the traffic signs installed on the re-routing areas to minimize traffic congestion.
