‘2 million’ people join solemn procession

ABOUT two million persons turned up for the solemn procession in honor of the Sto. Niño de Cebu yesterday, a police official estimated, about 200,000 more than last year’s crowd.

They included an archbishop who thanked the Niño for helping his flock recover from a devastating typhoon, and a seven-year-old boy who was separated from his parents for an hour, before reuniting with them, in tears, in a police station. (READ MORE)
