CLASSES in Cebu City’s three biggest public schools will be canceled on Thursday and Friday to give way to out-of-town Sinulog contingents that will need a place to stay.
Public school students who will compete in the grand parade on Sunday may also be excused from classes or their school officials may cancel classes on Monday altogether.
But schools that will suspend classes because of the Sinulog will have to hold make-up classes on a Saturday or extend the number of school days at the end of the year, Cebu City Schools Superintendent Lorna Rances said. (more)
