AROUND 10,000 volunteers will help make Sinulog 2009 the best grand parade so far, as organizers promise to stage a show that locals and foreign spectators will not forget.
In their bid to make the grand parade a meaningful one, Sinulog Foundation Inc. (SFI) officials urged the participating contingents to innovate, improve their production numbers and research on the rituals and the Sinulog dance movements.
Around 10 contingents from other towns and provinces expressed their interest to join the Jan. 18 parade, where up to 50 dancing contingents are expected to compete.(more)
