JOEL Delposo and Mary Joy Tabal won the men’s and women’s 5K titles in the Sinulog Fun run yesterday at the Cebu City Sports Center.
Delposo crossed the finish line in 15:52.89, less than a second ahead of Mendel Lopez (15:53.45) Jordan Bacong took the third spot in 16:08.89, 15 seconds ahead of fourth placer Joebert Carolino. Adonis Singson got the fifth spot in 16:28.11.
In the women’s division, Tabal took the title in 19:18.43, while the comebacking by Christy Tutor got second place in 19:56.32. Madelyn Carter secured the third spot in 20:13.45, while Joeyry Lee (20:55.23) and Sheena Gacayan (21:29.32) got the fourth and fifth places, respectively.
In the 3K division, Jiovane Adlawan and Crizel Diongson took the boys and girls division, respectively.
Adlawan posted 13:11.36 to beat Joey Lee Jr. (13:46.27), while Rellan Felicio took the third spot with 14:25.48. (more)
