we don’t have a list of the contingents yet. we’ve asked from sinulog organizers and they’re still cleaning it up. hopefully, we can post the list later today.

hi guys.. just want to ask for more video clips of the sto. nino procession and the sinulog street dance featuring the different contingents for us filipinos who are abroad and cannot see the event in actual.. pls…. i’m from cebu… and i really miss the event so much…. as i see these photos and video clips it make me cry and miss cebu so much… and am thankful for this website that eventhough we are far from our hometown and our loved ones we can still get to see the happenings in our beloved hometown… thanks a lot and i will be waiting for the video clips…. hello, to all cebuanos; the sinulog makes me proud to be from cebu – i’m truly 100% cebuano; i had the chance to join the sinulog celebration in 1984 – i was with the contingent from the cebu city medical center PGI’s (post-graduate interns)and nurses who represented the cebu city hall; it was really fun; the parade route was from the cebu city hall, up to magallanes st, then to jones avenue, fuente osmena, then to mango avenue and then straight to the reclamation area where the old white gold department store used to be; our performance was over by about 6PM.I wish i could do it again – but i’ve been away from cebu since then; all i do is to look at pictures that are published in the internet/sunstar. more power to all filipinos!

Na missed nako ang pista cebu gikan pag sugod sa novena mass dayon procession kuyog akong pamilya unya atend sa misa pagka human dayon apil sayaw og pit senyor!!! di ka bayran og sapi ang paglipay kauban ni senior santo nino sa celebasyon.Mao ni pina ka memorable dayon pagka sunday mardi gras sinulog!!! Thanks for the photos but can we see a full coverage of the sinulog parade and procession i missed it so much twenty years is so long not to see this happy event in Cebu.I’m from Bogo .Any participants? pit senyor sa mga taga cebu diha especially to my fellow naganians out there. the sinulog pictures were beautiful, hope you can post more pictures. we just had our sinulog festival here in chicago, just this saturday, jan.20. and it was fun. pit senyor sa tanan and ngadto pud sa mga taga naga.

thanks for the photos from the sinulog parades of the Sto.Nino events in cebu .im watching video clips of the Sto.Nino procession and the sinulog street dance.I felt im in cebu too. im living her in abroad almost 20 years , i haven,t been there in sinulog since i left Phil.nice to see photos and videos clips.na miss na naman ko ang cebu. cebu has been greatly improved so far. im proud being from cebu.i will say thanks to the successfull choreographers and to all organisers in sto.nino sinulog events. u should participates in Brasil ,in Regio de janiro. For a great festival, Pit Senjor. forward to see u all ” kababayan ” to next sinulog events. congratulations for a successfull sinulog parades.Proud to be a filipinos.

Last year is my first Sinulog event that i was the farthest, but my memories during my almost 20 years of service to the Basilica brings me back closer to the Holy Child. Its far greater event than the Roses Parade in Pasadena, Mardi Gras in New Orleans, Senyor Sto Nino pls give a chance to once again serve you and the people when i come back soon. Viva Pit Senor! Whew, missing so much the festival. For three years being here in Abu Dhabi, i knew i have already missed a lot of happenings there in Cebu. Hopefully by next year I can again witness the mardigra!

My utmost congratulation to Tangub City for capturing the grand prize almost every year and I wonder why Cebu City can’t make the best of out of it. Or is the host city excepted for this competation?
